SHIPPING AND SHIPPING POLICY (SWEET APPLE)
GEOGRAPHIC ZONES
We accept orders for delivery to addresses in mainland Portugal and islands. We do not ship to PO Box addresses outside of Portugal or outside Portuguese territory. To obtain information about deliveries outside Portugal, contact us via email or telephone, from Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Free delivery and return costs for orders over 500 euros. For orders totaling less than 500 euros, shipping costs will be added, as described when completing the online purchase.
We process within 72 hours (3 business days) all orders confirmed by 1 pm (business days), whose items are available in stock. For personalized pieces, it takes an additional 5 working days (beyond the standard delivery estimate) for your order to be processed.
Orders are processed from Monday to Friday (except holidays). If we find a problem with your order, you will be contacted. Normally, the order will arrive the next day, after receiving the email confirming that it has been sent along with the tracking link. Please note that deliveries may take longer to certain remote areas or if your order requires additional security validation. In any case, we will aim to deliver all products within 30 days of sending you your order confirmation.
All of our parcel shipments are weighed before shipping and are insured against theft/loss.
All shipments require the signature of an adult (18 years or older) upon delivery. After the adult's signature confirming acceptance of the delivered product, responsibility for the goods becomes yours. If you have specified a third party as the recipient for delivery purposes (e.g. as a gift), then you understand and accept that evidence of a signature by that recipient (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfillment of the contract for sale by Torres Joalheiros and transfer of responsibility to the recipient, as if the product had been delivered to you.
We recommend that you inspect the package for damage or tampering before signing and accepting it; In case of tampering with the packaging, we ask that you refuse to receive it.
PICK UP AN ORDER IN A STORE
If you wish to collect your order at the Sweet Apple Store (Benedita), you must present:

2. Official identification with photo (Citizen Card or Passport).

4. Submit a copy of the documents mentioned in the previous item and a declaration of authorization signed by you, mentioning the details of the request.
It will be available for collection within 48 hours (2 working days), all orders confirmed by 1 pm (working days), whose items are available in stock. For personalized pieces, it takes an additional 5 working days (beyond the standard estimate) for your order to be available. Torres Joalheiros will keep your order for 15 days, after which it will be cancelled.
PROBLEMS WITH DELIVERY
If the delivery of your order is delayed, please contact us by email or phone. Upon receiving your order, please carefully inspect the packaging contents. If there is any discrepancy between what you ordered and what you received, please notify Torres Joalheiros immediately, which is committed to returning any incorrect or non-conforming products in accordance with our exchange and returns policy and current legislation.
As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to any products that are not delivered within the 30 day period.
We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in any of the obligations undertaken by us under an order the cause of which is due to events beyond our control (force majeure). The concept of force majeure shall include any act, event, failure to exercise, omission or accident that is beyond our control, including, among others, the following:
1. General strike, or other forms of protest that significantly affect the country.
2. Disturbances of public order, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or terrorist threat, war (declared or not) or threat or preparation for war.
3. Fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, landslide, epidemic or any other natural disaster.
4. Impossibility of using trains, boats, aircraft, motor transport or other means of transport, public or private.
5. Impossibility of using public or private telecommunications systems.
6. Officially recognized pandemic situations.
7. Epidemics, pandemics or other similar health situations.
It will be considered that our obligations arising from the contracts are suspended during the period in which the reasons of force majeure occur and we will benefit from an extension of the period to fulfill such obligations, for a period equal to the duration of the reasons of force majeure . We will use all reasonable means to bring the force majeure to an end or to find a solution that allows us to fulfill our obligations under the Contract despite the force majeure.
