Precious Metal Prices and Hallmarks
As a licensed goldsmith, every precious metal item available at Sweet Apple is properly hallmarked in accordance with the Portuguese legal regime for goldsmithery and assay offices.
A hallmark is the official stamp applied by the Portuguese Assay Office (Contrastaria) certifying the fineness of the metal — the proportion of gold, silver, platinum or palladium in the alloy. It is your guarantee that the piece is what we say it is.
